WARNING...Bitcoins Are Not Money, says UBS Boss.

You know, I've always thought this Bitcoin thing (yes it's a thing cuz it has no value) is some kind of conspiracy or how do one wrap his head around the inability of regulators to nip it in the bud. The virtual currency has even just debuted on Chicago Mercantile Exchange making it's acceptability close to home.

Let's not fret yet though cuz insiders are beginning to speak up.
The chairman of Swiss banking giant UBS said in an interview published Sunday that he does not consider the soaring cryptocurrency bitcoin as money and called for regulators to intervene.

Too Much Money...Saudi Crown Prince ‘Buyer of $300m French Chateau’

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has been revealed as the owner of a French chateau described as the world’s most expensive home, according to a report in the New York Times.
The purchase of the vast property west of Paris for $300 million (275 million euros) would be the latest in a string of extravagant purchases by the powerful prince, who has been waging a sweeping anti-corruption campaign.
The newly-built chateau was sold to a mystery buyer in 2015, and though its ownership is concealed through shell companies, advisers to the royal family have confirmed the prince is its ultimate owner, the Times reported Saturday.

Meghan Markle Was Asked To ‘Lie’ About Her Age!!!

Who say's CORRUPTION only thrive in Nigeria? I beg to differ.

Only difference is overseas, you will be investigated, tried and jailed if convicted but in Nigeria, you'll be investigated ONLY if you're a member of the opposition party, possibly tried in a court of law (whether jurisdiction is competent or not, that's a case for another day) then the accused will flex some muscle by making sure his/her case enjoys indefinite adjournment.

Case of two rogue elephants fighting right? And the grass we expect to slip one or both of them sef is there watching like a robot, waiting to be encouraged to settle the score. Who's the ROBOT in this scenario? Abeg, fill in the space...

So we hear Meghan Markle’s previous interview about the downsides of being in the industry just resurfaced. In 2015, the then-“Suits” actress revealed that she was asked to lie about her age so she could book more jobs.

In-Debt...SA Revenue Service Demands R2m from AKA

Ya'll know AKA right? That South African Hip Hop artist and record producer, real name - Kiernan Forbes. He's been linked with Bonang Matheba in recent time as being in a relationship. So what went wrong?

Well, he is in trouble with the taxman. He owes the SA Revenue Service (Sars) at least R2 million.
This is according to legal papers submitted by the rapper. His former manager, Raphael Benza, has dragged Forbes to court, claiming the rapper owed his record company, Vth Season, at least R650 000, which should have been settled by the end of November.  In July, the parties signed a separation settlement agreement before a sheriff of the court. However, Forbes has since failed to comply, arguing that he owes the taxman.

Drug Abuse Becoming Pandemic In Nigeria – Medical Director

Dr Oluyemi Ogun, Medical Director, Federal Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital, Yaba, Lagos, on Monday, said that drug abuse was fast becoming a pandemic in the country and should be addressed urgently.
Ogun made the call at the 8th Annual Symposium of Health Writers’ Association of Nigeria (HEWAN) in Lagos with the theme: “The Menace of Counterfeit Drugs: The Role of Regulatory Bodies.’’
She said that drug abuse was becoming a national problem as thousands of Nigerians, especially the youth used dangerous drug substances. “We have seen numerous scientific studies that highlight the physical damage — both to the brain and to the cardiovascular system — from drug abuse. “The ever-growing trend of drug abuse among Nigerian adults, and more importantly, teenagers calls for concern as we are heading towards a drug abuse crisis in the country.

Baggers. I personally advocate the proscription of all this associations. They are becoming a THREAT to national security. I mean, who in his/her sane mind will choose festive period to commence some useless strike. That amounts to total declaration of war on Nigerians.
Una for no call am off na. Even Nigerians would have come for your head. Rubbish.
So we hear ''The Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN) has suspended its nationwide strike''.
The strike was suspended on Monday following the intervention of the Minister of Labour and Productivity, Dr.  Chris Ngige and the Department of State Security, DSS in Abuja.

Boko Haram Attack on WFP Convoy Leaves Four Dead in Nigeria

Four people were killed when a United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) aid convoy was ambushed in northeast Nigeria, a WFP spokeswoman said, in the latest attack in the region as conflict with Boko Haram nears its ninth year.
“WFP can confirm that a convoy escorted by the Nigerian military including WFP-hired trucks was the subject of an attack by armed groups 35 km southwest of Ngala in Borno State on Saturday,” she said in an emailed statement.
“Four people, including the driver of a WFP-hired truck and a driver’s assistant, were killed in the incident,” the statement said, adding that “WFP is working with the authorities to determine the whereabouts of the trucks.”

Top Ten Healthiest Cities in Africa.

1. CAPE TOWN, SOUTH AFRICA

Besides splendid views, Cape Town is home to the healthiest people in South Africa – according to the Discovery Vitality Group in their Vitality Obecity Index 2017. The research shows that 53.5% of Capetonians live healthy lifestyles with normal weight as compared to other South African Cities like Johannesburg, Durban, Pretoria, Bloemfontein, and Port Elizabeth. Although the report brings out the clear picture on consumption per city, its findings majorly touch on South Africa. As a result, this report is comparatively inaccurate when cities outside of South Africa are included.

The report indicated Capetown improved by 7% from 2014. The Group attributes this improvement to the change in shopping habits. “Cape Town purchased the most portions of fruit and vegetables compared to other cities, followed by Johannesburg and Bloemfontein. Port Elizabeth and Durban purchased the least portions of fruit and vegetables. Durban purchased 34% less fruit and vegetables compared to Cape Town, the winning city”, the report says. Capetown, however, did not slow down in the purchases of sugar and salt, which are substances mostly associated with weight gain. Overall, the shift in food preference, among other factors, could have played a major role in improving the lifestyle of Capetonians.

2. KIGALI, RWANDA

The capital city of Rwanda is one of the fastest growing metropolises with a rising population. The 2012-2013 preliminary study on obesity put women at a higher risk of contracting obesity than men in Rwanda. Although the number is still low, it shows signs of increasing rapidly. According to the report the risk of obesity was highest among women at 6.3%, while men were at 2.1%. The government of Rwanda has fortunately put in place initiatives to encourage healthy lifestyles; for example, the East African reports that “there is a government policy to promote physical education in communities, a compulsory weekly physical exercise among all civil servants, and various gym centres, but the Rwanda Biomedical Centre said there is a need for continued education of citizens on the benefits of physical exercise”. According to the Ministry of Health, many did not reach the recommended WHO of at least 5 servings a day of fruits and vegetables.
