PHOTOs: Four Nigerian Men Who Underwent Sex Change

Members of Transsexual community right? I never knew Nigeria had up to four before now but then, there might just be more.

I bring to you four Nigerian men who have undergone sex change surgery and have transformed into women.

1. Miss Sahara

The 29-year-old was born a man and lived in Abuja for several years before moving to the UK where she now lives as a woman.

2. Stephanie Rose

She was born Dapo Adaralegbe and was educated at the Obafemi Awolowo University in Nigeria. Dapo said he was expelled from school over his identity crisis and so travelled to Europe for sex change. 

3. Noni Salma Lawal

She used to be known as Habeeb Babatunde Lawal, an entertainment journalist. She graduated from the University of Lagos with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Arts. She underwent a sex change in the UK.

4. Mandy Ia Candy

Formerly known as Mr Okwudili, she is said to have undergone a sex change in Canada.
