How To Get Perfect Party Eyes This Christmas

As its party season and everyone will be looking to get attention, i want to lighten you up and have decided to do something specific on eyes. After all, ’tis season to bring out the glitter. Here is how to get the look in six easy steps.

STEP ONE
Prepare your Brows

Begin by applying your brow products to give you a fuller and more defined shape. Get one that is waterproof with long lasting finish. Then apply concealer underneath your brows to help define the shape further. Bring the concealer down to your eyelids, since it helps to cover discolouration and acts as a base for eyeshadow.

STEP TWO
Start Eyeshadow Application

Start your eyeshadow application by adding a warm, neutral tone to your crease, as a transitional colour that will help blend all your eyeshadows together.

STEP THREE
Add Eyeshadow Primer

This is necessary to give yourself extra eyelid space, you have to begin cutting my crease out. This also acts a base, which stops eyeshadow from creasing, and gives the needed colour payoff.

STEP FOUR
Start layering

Apply a light-pink shade from the inner corner of your eye to the centre, then deepen the outer V of the eye by blending the deep-plum shade. A matt tone is needed to give a perfect base for any glitter with which you choose to pair it.

STEP FIVE
Add The Glitter And Feline Flock

Apply any gold-pressed glitter using your fingertips, pressing on to the eyelids for a light glittery touch. If you would like a more intense look, you can use glitter glue as a base for the glitter. You can use tape as a guide when doing a winged- outlook – it stops the shadow going on your face and creates a sharp line. Scotch tape is good as it’s not too sticky, but most tapes work.

STEP SIX
Finishing Touches

Complete the look by applying Saffron shade on to your lower lash line and applying mascara to your lashes. To give you the extra length and volume for this party-eye look, add a pair of eyelashes.
