19-year-Old Shot Dead in Chicago Robbery
A 19-year-old man of Indian origin was shot dead and his relative critically wounded by armed robbers who struck their petrol station in Dolton, Chicago, late on Thursday morning local time, reported CBS Chicago.
A $12,000 reward is being offered to help solve the killing.
The 19-year-old was identified as Arshad Vora. ANI news agency said he hailed from Gujarat. The petrol station and attached convenience store was family owned, said the Chicago Sun Times.
The injured man was 55 years old; police haven't yet released his name. He's said to be in critical condition.
No one is in custody as of Thursday afternoon, local police said. Investigators are checking for video footage of the shooting.
