Senator Nathasha Akpoti Resumes at the Senate

Did China Help Pakistan Against India?

  Pakistan's army chief Field Marshal Asim Munir on Monday rejected New Delhi's allegation that his military received active support from longtime ally China in its conflict with India in May. Indian army's deputy chief Lieutenant General Rahul Singh alleged that China gave Pakistan critical information about India's military. The "insinuations regarding external support" are "irresponsible and factually incorrect", Munir said in an address to graduating officers of the national security and war course in Islamabad, according to an army statement. Pakistani officials have previously dismissed allegations of receiving active support from China in the conflict. Beijing and Islamabad have longstanding close relations, with billions of dollars of Chinese investment in the South Asian nation's energy and infrastructure. ITALIAN POLICE ARREST CHINESE NATIONAL FOR ESPIONAGE

  Italian police have arrested a 33-year-old Chinese man who is wanted by the U.S. authorities over alleged industrial espionage which targeted projects including efforts to develop a COVID vaccine, legal and judicial sources said on Monday. The man, identified as Xu Zewei from Shanghai, was picked up last week after he arrived at Milan's Malpensa airport on a U.S. arrest warrant as part of an FBI investigation. The U.S. authorities allege that he was part of a team of hackers who tried to access a COVID vaccine being developed by the University of Texas in 2020. He faces an extradition hearing in Milan on Tuesday. Enrico Giarda, the Italian lawyer representing the suspect, declined to comment on the case. The charges listed on the U.S. arrest warrant are wire fraud and aggravated identity theft, conspiracy to commit wire fraud, and unauthorised access to protected computers.

  Over the weekend, New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs deleted all of Cardi B's photos from his Instagram account, fueling rumors of a breakup. Just about a month ago, they were both on the internet, sharing intimate pictures of themselves on a yatch. Stefon was seen having a cozy time with a group of young women on the same yatch, which could have upset Cardi B. We think that was the beginning of the recent fallout between our delectable lovebirds. Already, fans have started speculating about the end of the relationship but we are hopeful they will reconcile. We love Cardi B and want a stable and happy relationship for her.
